The Cottage

The cottage, which provides comfortable accommodation for four people, has been recently moderised and upgraded, and consists of a lounge, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen/dining room with patio doors.

Very well heated throughout, the thick stone walls retain the heat well in winter, and make the cottage cool in summer.

The bedrooms both have plenty of space and storage, and all beds have electric blankets.

The lounge has a 3-piece suite, a 24 inch television, a DVD player, a nest of coffee tables and a CD player and radio. The cottage has a small collection of novels, non-fiction books, DVDs and CDs, and more are easily available from the local village library. Broadband WiFi access to the internet for laptops is also available, please ask on arrival for the access code.

The kitchen is fully fitted, all electric and very well appointed. There is a table and four chairs in the dining area, and crockery and cutlery for 6 people. The patio doors lead on to a secluded cottage garden, and there is a full set of patio furniture and a BBQ set in the garden shed.

The bathroom has a wall heater and electric shower, as well as a bath. Soap and towels are provided for your stay.

There is a garage at the bottom of the garden with a washing machine and drying facilities for wet clothes, and private off-street parking in front of the garage for one car.
