Clematis Cottage

Self-catering cottage patio

Clematis cottage is a self-catering accommodation which is part of an original, stone built terrace of three cottages, and dates back to around 1635 when it was part of a few crofts which then comprised the small hamlet of Killin.

It is in the heart of Killin today, but its thick stone walls and secluded rear garden give it a sense of privacy and tranquillity. From the patio of the cottage, you can see the magnificent Tarmachan Ridge, Ben Glass and Ben Lawers. A little way up the village are the famous Falls Of Dochart -at the top of Killin- and a short walk along the river bank will take you to the western shores of Loch Tay.

The accommodation has been a self-catering holiday cottage since 1997. May Aitken, whose family has owned the cottage for 3 generations lives nearby and is available to answer any questions you may have. May and Andrew, her son, will endeavour to make your stay in Killin as enjoyable and as relaxing as possible.
